Alexey Zozulin is the captain of the team
24 year-old guard Alexey Zozulin was called the new captain of Ural Great. He was approved to this position by the head coach of the team Drazen Anzulovic.
A. Zozulin: I did not expect to become the teams captain. Head coach announced this Friday night before our game vs. Sentjur. Actually it does not change a lot for me. As always before, I will keep on working hard to play every game at my best. But now I feel responsible not only for myself but for the whole team.

Alexey Zozulin was born on the 14th of January 1983 in Alma Ata. Played in Ural Great in the 2006/07 season. Before he played for Avtodor (1999/00), UNICS 2 (2000/01 2001/02), Arsenal (2002/03), UNICS (2003/04 2004/05), Sibirtelekom Lokomotiv (2005/06). Captain of the Russian students team in the World University Games 2007.
