On Sunday 23rd of September players of the Russian national team came to Perm on occasion of the Students basketball festival held here September 21-23. One year ago our NT started its winning road to the Eurobasket gold medals on the Molot Sports Hall floor. In the qualification round Russian team defeated Czech (104-81) and Belgium (96-63) NTs. The team that won the European champions title was born then.

Russian team players did not forget the support Perm basketball fans gave them. They returned to our city to say thank you and to show us their trophy.
