American forward Jumaine Jones (201 cm, 104 kg) signed contract with Ural Great. Jones was born on the 10th of February 1979 in Cocoa, Florida (USA). In the 1999 NBA Draft Jones was selected by the Atlanta Hawks with the 27th overall pick but was traded to the Philadelphia 76ers. In the eight seasons that Jones spent in the NBA he played for 7 teams: Philadelphia 76ers (1999 – 2001), Cleveland Cavaliers (2001 2003), Boston Celtics (2003 2004), Los Angeles Lakers (2004-2005), Charlotte Bobcats (2005 – 2006), Phoenix Suns (2006 – 2007) and New Jersy Nets (2006 – 2007). Achievements: the NBA finals in 2001, personal scoring record in the NBA: 31 points scored in the game Charlotte vs LA Lakers on the 3rd of February 2006, represented USA in the 1998 Goodwill Games. In the end of October 2007 Jones signed with Eldo Basket Napoli (Italy) where he played 26 games in the Italian championship and scored 17,9 ppg and pulled 8,4 rpg.
